Vision:
A more efficient, modern and sustainable use of biomass in the domestic and industrial sectors in the urban as well as rural environments.

Mission:

To research, validate and promote modern technology and biomass usage in the industrial as well as domestic sectors. 

To promote the sustainability of forestry resource use for energy, through plantations and forestry management.

Discuss, debate, opinionate, encourage changes in energy policies and forestry towards favorable use of biomass and renewable energy

Objectives:

• To promote and encourage clean energy through use of principally renewable biomass sources at the national level.
  

• Measure the  adoption of policies, directing public strategies and incentives towards the bioenergy and renewable energy sectors.
  

• Promote the enabling of human resources in the area of reforestation, renewable energy, bionergy and energy efficiency
  

• Facilitate information exchange between agents in the energy and forestry sectors
  

• Lend consulting services for project development in renewable energy, bioenergy and energy efficiency.
